Apptitude

I'm downloading several apps on my phone this morning (including Blogger!) in order to be a slightly more productive and informed member of society.

So far I've gotten:

-Seafood Watch
    Which is exciting because I currently carry around a little seafood watch card in my wallet which is not only all tattered and worn from age, but also probably a little outdated since printing.  Now I have up to date info with me always to make sure I'm making the most sustainable selections when it comes to eating seafood! Hurrah.

-Fooducate
      I haven't used it yet but apparently you can scan barcodes on food packaging and learn about the health of the ingredients etc. and get alternative recommendations if appropriate.  I'll be sure to write up a review once I've actually used it a little.

-Map My Ride
     I bike to work everyday and this app will help me track my cycling to work and also calculates my miles, time, calories, etc. As a spreadsheet nerd, I'm pretty excited to have and track all this data over time!

-Blogger
      Which I'm using as we speak to write this post.

Blogging about blogging is one of the more boring, and most tempting, blog topics that ever were. So we'll try our hardest to avoid that here. Rule #1 already set, and broken. Nevertheless, welcome to my blog. I'm not sure what it will become, other than an outlet. We'll find out together, I suppose.
